• Collaborate effectively with families, staff, and community health professionals to support whole-child wellness
• Use data-driven approaches to track health trends and implement prevention strategies
• Communicate proactively with parents through health updates, conferences, and coordination of care plans
• Support students with special health needs and disabilities through individualized care planning
• Guide students in developing healthy lifestyle habits and understanding their own health needs
• Participate in crisis management planning and emergency response protocols
• Embrace ongoing professional development, including our annual staff training week, to stay current with best practices
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity when working with diverse families and addressing varied health perspectives
• Maintain professional relationships while serving as a trusted health advocate for every student

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid New Jersey School Nurse certification
• Demonstrated expertise in pediatric healthcare and emergency procedures
• Knowledge of community health resources and social services
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Team-oriented mindset with commitment to student-centered care
