School Nurse - Generous Compensation

Job Description:

Experience administering first aid for injury and illness. Experience administering medications and health care treatments.
Proven experience providing and coordinating health care interventions, including emergency responses. Experience assessing the health needs of the school community. Proven experience coordinating health matters between the health care provider, family, and the school. Experience maintaining school health records, including ensuring compliance with state health mandates for school attendance. Experience monitoring the spread of communicable diseases and developing and implementing strategies to control the spread of communicable diseases. Experience in health counseling and health education.

Qualifications:

• BS with 5 years' experience as a Registered Nurse
• Must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse from the Maryland State Board of Nursing
• Current Certification in First Aid.
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR)
• Ability to pass CJIS background check
