Adelphi is seeking a School Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing services to students in a school setting in St. Louis, Missouri. The nurse will provide care and treatment to students, address medical needs, administer medications as directed, maintain student health records, and complete required health center documentation.

Requirements
• Active Missouri Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
• Availability to work one of the listed Sunday-Thursday schedules.
Responsibilities
• Provide practical nursing care and treatment to students.
• See students requesting medical attention and review medical complaints, injury reports, and new physician orders daily.
• Dispense medications according to physician directions.
• Maintain and submit Daily Health Center Logs, medication logs, and assigned documentation accurately and on time.
• Document student contacts, including medications, procedures, and consultations, in real time in the Student Information System.
• Inventory medications monthly and verify inventory quarterly to ensure student needs are met.
• Order supplies and discard expired supplies as needed.
• Maintain complete and accurate Cumulative Health Records for students.
• Monitor students identified with special health care needs and report significant findings to the supervisor.
• Maintain First Aid kits and medical bags for bus trips, school outings, and related activities.
• Complete required reports and correspondence accurately and on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
