Position Overview:

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team. This full-time, on-site role supports students through comprehensive psycho-educational assessment, consultation, intervention planning, and participation in multidisciplinary teams to promote educational success and overall well-being. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide psycho-educational assessments and interpret results to determine eligibility for special education services.
  • Participate in assessment, diagnosis, and planning for students with special needs.
  • Evaluate and assess students during disciplinary disputes (e.g., suspensions, expulsions).
  • Provide written reports that summarize test results, observations, and input from school personnel, parents, and students.
  • Accurately interpret and utilize student data; assist stakeholders in understanding evaluation outcomes.
  • Use appropriate technology to enhance the quality and presentation of assessments.
  • IEP Development & Support
    • Participate on a multidisciplinary team in the development of IEPs and facilitate IEP meetings as required.
    • Develop student goals and objectives; consult with teachers, administrators, and service providers to monitor educational programs.
    • Assist in writing Behavior Intervention Plans and IEP behavior goals for students with special needs.
    • Provide guidance to school personnel regarding IDEA requirements.
  • Counseling Intervention
    • Provide individual and group counseling as required by IEPs or for assessment purposes.
    • Assist students in developing academic, career, and personal/social skills.
    • Provide behavioral management consultation, classroom observations, monitoring, and follow-up.
    • Consult with community mental health partners on pre-referral strategies, referrals, and ongoing programming needs.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Interact with staff from students’ home school districts regarding IEPs, placement decisions, and other relevant issues.
    • Collaborate with program support service staff and public/private agencies to support student needs.
    • Conduct training sessions for staff, parents, and community members related to disability awareness and other relevant topics.
  • Compliance & Professional Standards
    • Maintain appropriate records and documentation for each student.
    • Ensure confidentiality of student information in accordance with all applicable laws and ethical standards.
    • Participate in due process procedures and professional development to maintain competencies.
    • Adhere to all SRPMIC School Board Policies and Procedures, as well as ethics and standards of the school psychology profession.
    • Perform additional related duties as assigned to support efficient department operations.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master's/Doctorate in School Psychology
  • Licensure: Arizona School Psychologist Credential/License (required)
  • Experience: Psycho-educational assessment and IEP development
  • Technical Skills:
    • Ability to work full-time on-site at Salt River Schools (telework is not permitted).
    • Strong knowledge of IDEA, psycho-educational assessment practices, and school-based intervention strategies.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
