School Psychologist - Preschool

SpeechCom Inc. is hiring a School Psychologist (CA Pupil Services Credential required) to serve a public school district in the Santa Clarita area of Los Angeles, CA for the 25/26 school year.

Rate of Pay: $65-$75 per hour W2 (depending on experience)

Hours: Maximum 40 Hour work week

• September 2025 start date through June 12, 2026
• Serving a Preschool Setting

The school psychologist must have:

• California Pupil Services Credential from CTC.
• Must pass Livescan fingerprinting
• TB Test Clearance

Focus on several key areas of student development and academic success. Job entails a comprehensive approach that addresses various aspect's of a student's life, including their emotional, social, and behavioral needs. 

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with students, families, and district staff to help determine the support required to ensure a student's academic success.
• Assess student's learning styles, cognitive abilities, and academic needs.
• Help teachers tailor instruction to meet the diverse needs of their students.
• May also assist in generating individualized education plans (IEPs) for student's with special needs, including learning disabilities or other challenges.
• Support each student's IEP by working with a multidisciplinary team.
• Teach pro-social behaviors to students within the school environment.
