Exciting School Psychologist Role – NCSP Preferred | Elementary Focus

Start Date: August 2025

Schedule: Up to 37.5 hours per week

Caseload: Elementary School Students

Our Organization is actively seeking a dedicated and student-centered School Psychologist to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting the mental and emotional well-being of young learners within a vibrant elementary school setting.

In this role, you’ll be a key member of the student support team, working to reduce health-related barriers to academic success and promote full classroom participation. You’ll deliver school-based mental health services that help foster a positive, inclusive learning environment and empower students to thrive both academically and personally.

What You’ll Do:

Help students build self-awareness, resilience, and communication skills.

Observe students in classrooms and school environments to gather critical data for intervention planning.

Collaborate with staff and families to implement effective support strategies and improve student outcomes.

Provide counseling and skills-based instruction to support students dealing with emotional, behavioral, or social difficulties.

This is a unique opportunity for a School Psychologist who values early intervention, teamwork, and creating environments where all students feel seen, supported, and empowered. NCSP credential preferred but not required.

Requirements

Candidates must have earned a Master's degree in School or Educational Psychology and hold a valid school psychology license issued by the state of Illinois. Additionally, applicants should either possess or be eligible to obtain the required endorsement in School Psychology.
