School Registered Nurse (RN)

It’s a rewarding opportunity to support a child’s education while making a real difference in their daily life.

Schedule: 7am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday, following a school year schedule

Contract Length: 1 year w/ possible extension

Key Responsibilities:

• Works with the Medical Director to identify student needs.
• Provides first aid and emergency treatment.
• Dispenses medication and treatments.
• Conducts screening exams.
• Maintains and updates health records.
• Prepares health-related reports.
• May drive between assigned locations.

Qualifications:

• Valid and current BLS and CPR certifications
• Valid nursing license in New York State.
• Experience working with children
• Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to health-related emergencies.
• Compassionate, responsible, and reliable with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a safe, supportive environment for the student.
• Two professional references/letters of recommendation
