POSITION SUMMARY: This is a non-supervisory position that provides police protection at designated education facilities within the City of Danville during the school year along with other related duties as required.

This is a skilled school resource police position providing safety to students and the citizens of Danville, KY, and the work performed is required with a high level of initiative, integrity, trustworthiness, and ethics . The position will be subject to all the laws and regulations of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and work is performed under direct supervision in accordance with well-defined departmental policies and procedures.

COMPENSATION: The salary for this position is $40.11/hr.  

BENEFITS: This is a seasonal position with no benefits.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

· HS Diploma or GED.

· Must possess and maintain a valid drivers’ license

CERTIFICATIONS:

Current Kentucky Police Certification
