• 1 year experience in a clinical setting.


• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer/ pre-employment drug screen.


• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures of a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.


• Current RN Licensure in the State of Illinois.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review weekly care notes for quality of documentation, changes in patient condition requiring revisions to the Plan of Care.


• Foster trusted relationships with children, families, peers and referral sources in schools


• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques


• Observe patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments and significant incidents


• Take and record patients' vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of patient


• Respond to life saving situations based on nursing standards, policies, procedures and protocol


• Document nursing history and physical assessment for assigned patients


• Initiate a patient education plan according to the individualized needs of the patient as prescribed by the physician and/or Agency policy including patient and family instruction


• Participate in the implementation and evaluation of patient care
