Job Description: Blazer Jobs, in collaboration with the local school district, is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time position during the 2023-2024 school year in Manassas, VA. If you are passionate about supporting students' communication development and enhancing their overall educational experience, we invite you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing speech and language therapy plans developed by Speech-Language Pathologists
• Work with individuals or small groups of students to support their communication goals
• Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists, teachers, and support staff to provide comprehensive services
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Support the overall communication needs of students in the school setting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
• Virginia State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Experience working in a school setting is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team
