School Speech-Language Pathologist - Full-Time - Elmwood Park, NJ

We are seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work onsitewith students Elmwood Park, NJ for the remainder of the school year, with the potential to turn into a permanent position.The SLP will be responsible for providing assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and consultation services to students with communication disorders or delays. Responsibilities:

• Conducting 30-minute speech therapy sessions throughout the day.
• Assessing and diagnosing speech and language disorders.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Providing guidance and training to educational staff on speech and language strategies.
• Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records.
• Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to the development of student goals.

Position Details:

• Part-Time (30 hours/week)
• Monday - Friday 9 am - 3 pm
• Through the End of School Year with the potential to be permanent.
• NJ SLP License Required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency

Caseload information:

Primarily Pre-School Disabled (PSD) through 5th grade, including students from PSD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Language Learning Disability (LLD) programs. Additionally, some students from general education classes (ICRS/POR) may require services.
