School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Contract Position (Pomona, MD) - with Great Benefits

Sunbelt Staffing is partnering with a local school district near Pomona, MD to find a passionate and dedicated School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified SLP seeking guaranteed weekly pay and a diverse caseload.

About the Position:

• Employment Type:Contract (through Sunbelt Staffing)
• Location:Pomona, MD (Specific school location to be provided upon selection)
• Schedule:Full-time (35 hours per week)
• Pay:Weekly (Competitive rate based on experience)
• Guaranteed Hours:Yes

Responsibilities:

• Conduct direct speech and language therapy for students (L-12)
• Administer assessments and evaluations
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Participate in professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

• A valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathology License (CCC-SLP)
• At least 1 year of experience working with children in a school setting (preferred)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
