School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse | Up to $32 per hour | Day time, weekday hours, NO weekends or holidays

Schedule: Monday–Friday, School-Day Hours (No evenings, weekends, or holidays)

Interim HealthCare is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to support students and school health offices throughout the greater Lackawanna County region. This is an ideal role for nurses who want predictable daytime hours, meaningful work, and the stability of following the school calendar.

  School health office / nurse’s office coverage

  Building nurse support for general student health needs

  
  

Pay: Up to $32/hour

Hours: Between 7:30 am and 3:30 pm

NOTE: Work is offered throughout the summer; summer camps, nursing homes, group homes, etc.

What you will do

• 
  

  Provide direct nursing care to students during the school day

  
  


• 
  

  Administer medications and support treatment plans

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor chronic conditions (diabetes, seizure disorders, mobility needs, etc.)

  
  


• 
  

  Support the health office with triage and routine care

  
  


• 
  

  Respond to illnesses, injuries, and emergencies

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate clearly with school staff, families, and the Interim HealthCare team

  
  


• 
  

  Complete documentation accurately and promptly

  
  

Requirements:

• 
  

  Active Pennsylvania LPN License

  
  


• 
  

  Current CPR/BLS Certification

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work independently in a school setting

  
  


• 
  

  Required Pennsylvania clearances (or willingness to obtain)

  
  

Pediatric or school nursing experience is helpful but not required—we provide support and guidance.
