Minimum 1+ years Behavior Specialist experience required.

BCBA Board Certified Behavior Analyst or RBT
Position Full Time for 2024-2025 School year.
Pay $40-$50 hourly.

Summary:
ProCare Therapys Educational Department seeks a dedicated and passionate clinician to support our school system as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst in Waynesville, MO for the remainder2023-2024 school year and the next. A BCBA will work alongside our educational professionals to provide ABA services for excelling in their academic needs. Ideal candidates will play a crucial role in positively impacting the lives of our students by directly contributing to the student(s) development by providing personalized autism services, thus providing direction and guidance to achieve their academic success. Must have extensive experience working with students with autism, intellectual disabilities, social emotional disabilities, and other related disabilities that require a highly structured classroom environment with an emphasis on behavior management, language enrichment and intensive sensory supports. Qualifications:

  • BCBA certification licensure issued by the BACB.
  • Masters degree from Board-Certified Behavior Analysts Program
  • Experience in the field of ABA (Experience as an RBT will count for newly certified BCBAs)
  • In school setting experience preferred but not required
  • Virtual opportunity may be available.

Key Responsibilities
Behavior assessment and intervention

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and/or brief Functional Analysis (FA).
  • Conduct preference assessments.
  • Discuss results of the FBA and the proposed BIP with the school-based staff.
  • Use the result of the FBA to create a function-based behavior intervention plan (BIP).

Data collection

  • Select appropriate data collection tools to measure target and replacement behaviors.
  • Select appropriate data collection tools to measure treatment fidelity.
  • Graph and monitor data for BIP to assess procedure effectiveness on a daily basis.
  • Identify trends in the data and report stagnant and increasing trends in the target behaviors.
  • Analyzes data on a weekly basis to develop training goals.

Staff supervision & training

  • Provides training to staff members regarding classroom behavior management techniques.
  • Provides staff and parent training regarding techniques for remediation of behavioral, social, or personal problems of students.
  • Provides training to staff members on implementing BIPs Updates school-based staff on best practices and adjustments connected to current cases.
