Duties & Responsibilities

• Introduce and nurture a love of science for preschool and early elementary students.


• Keep your knowledge fresh—incorporate the most compelling, age-appropriate scientific concepts.


• Build a strong foundational understanding of science that will serve students for years.


• Tune in to each child’s learning style and adapt accordingly.


• Make every lesson engaging and hands-on—think wonder, curiosity, and discovery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science Education, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Early Childhood Education (with strong science emphasis), or a closely related field.


• Two or more years of early education experience in a quality childcare environment.


• Deep passion for teaching science to young kids, both in groups and one‑on‑one.


• Stellar customer service skills and exceptional communication—especially with parents.


• Team‑player attitude with the flexibility to embrace new tasks and ideas.


• Strong initiative, conscientiousness, and unwavering follow-through.


• Consistently model superior teaching and caregiving skills.
