Seeking a candidate who has an immunology background and experience working with T-cells or other immune cells. In this role, the individual will be responsible for optimizing CAR-directed cell therapy functionality of drug product candidates. Success in this position will require a positive, can-do attitude, the ability to work well within a cross-functional team, and the ability to design and execute in vitro assays to study human T cell biology. Key Responsibilities: Cell culture of human cell lines, primary human blood cells and iPSC cells. Carry out experiments to determine the function of our cell therapy products by characterizing CAR performance, expression and effects on cells with methods including cytotoxicity assays, flow cytometry, cytokine secretion. Measure cytokines or phospho-proteins in samples using Meso Scale Discovery, capillary electrophoresis (Peggy, Wes, etc..) Analyze results of in vitro assays, make graphs and present findings to the Team, recommend next steps
