Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, innovative, and highly skilled Scientist specializing in Nucleic Acid Chemistry to join our founding scientific team. In this role, you will focus on the design, synthesis, and testing of modified nucleoside triphosphates (NTPs and dNTPs), bringing crucial expertise to our groundbreaking nucleic acid synthesis platform. You will collaborate closely with internal scientific teams and external partners, including CROs, industry collaborators, and academic labs, to drive scientific innovation and achieve strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, synthesize, and characterize modified NTPs and dNTPs for advanced nucleic acid synthesis


• Apply expertise in nucleic acid synthesis methodologies, optimizing reaction conditions and product quality


• Conduct rigorous characterization and analysis of nucleic acids using gels, TapeStation, Fragment Analyzer, HPLC, LCMS, and NMR


• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners (CROs, industry, and academic labs) to advance project objectives


• Document experimental results meticulously and communicate findings clearly and effectively to internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

• D. in Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Organic Chemistry, or a related discipline


• 1-3 years of relevant postdoctoral or industry experience in nucleic acid chemistry or a closely related field


• Demonstrated experience with modified nucleic acid synthesis and characterization techniques


• Strong proficiency in analytical methods including gels, TapeStation, Fragment Analyzer, HPLC, LCMS, and NMR
