Screen Press Operator - 2nd Shift

Description

Monday-Thursday, 2pm-12am

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety requirements, wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job functions related to working with inks or chemicals
• Maintain quality standards for all work performed
• Use Time Clock and Epicor system correctly
• Meet or exceed established productivity standards
• Install screen into the machine, making adjustments as necessary
• Attach squeegee to press, removing to sharpen or replace as necessary 
• Regulate air pressure and manipulate squeegee to adjust the pressure and angle of a sweep
• Apply printing inks to screen, while using PPE
• Procure sign-off before running entire job 
• Observe the quality of printing to detect printing defects caused by dirt, dust, etc
• Clean screen with proper cleaning procedures, while using PPE
• Adjust UV lamp and speed of the dryer belt
• Gather completed work at end of belt and place on a cart
• Place the used screen on a cart for reclaim
• Log job correctly including scrap
• Other duties as assigned
