We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Operator to join our production team, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. This critical role involves operating various machines and equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality production of molded bands and related products.

1. Meticulously interpret and adhere to order specifications with utmost accuracy.

2. Diligently maintain and care for molds, tools, and gauges, promptly reporting any repair needs to ensure continuous operation.

3. Operate the automatic mold breaker with exceptional precision and unwavering attention to detail.

4. Carefully adjust and mix mold release compounds in strict accordance with specifications.

5. Expertly set up and operate the winding machine, ensuring optimal thread tension at all times.

6. Configure and manage the slitting machine with precision to achieve accurate band cutting.

7. Meticulously set up the paint line, prepare paint mixtures, and ensure consistent, high-quality application on bands.

8. Maintain scrupulously accurate chemical usage records and manage inventory with utmost care.

9. Generate comprehensive and detailed production reports as required by management.

10. Provide thorough training, assistance, and support to team members in process improvement initiatives.

11. Actively participate in ELS training, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and maintain a world-class manufacturing environment.

12. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability by assisting in other critical areas of the company as needed.

13. Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and properly utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times, without exception.

To be considered for the position of Machine Operator, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

1. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
2. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on manufacturing experience.
3. Technical Skills:

• Ability to accurately interpret and follow specifications
• Proficiency in operating various measuring devices
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn Hazardous Material Information Systems (HMIS)

1. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
2. Physical Requirements:

• Capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Capacity to maneuver 120 lb. molds as needed
• Visual acuity to read small print on labels and perform detailed work

1. Sensory Tolerance: Ability to work in an environment with exposure to solvents and their odors
2. Safety Consciousness: Strong commitment to workplace safety and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
