Screen Room Associate

Summary:

The Screen Printing Associate will assist in creating custom apparel through the image creation, emulsion-coating, cleaning, & maintenance of screen printing screens. This is a fulltime, seasonal position, 5 days per week. Some overtime may be required.

Requirements

Essential Functions/Primary Duties:

· Create images on mesh screens according to the artwork required

· Clean screens and prepare templates

· Communicate with leadership about state/quality of screens and frames

· Maintain screen printing equipment

· Communicate with leadership regarding artwork needs

· Catch and fold screen printed items

· Help with other simple tasks (such as applying stickers)

· Cross-training in other areas of the Custom Apparel Department

Education/Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent

Skills/Attributes:

· Timely attendance and strong work ethic

· Strong attention to detail, high level of accuracy

· Open to learning new skills and processes that support the business

· High level of integrity with a strong sense of accountability

· Willingness to switch tasks multiple times per day

Working Conditions:

The work environment includes frequent changes in temperature depending on outdoor climate and occasional loud noises with little exposure to hazardous materials.

Strict adherence to safety protocol is required

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This is a non-supervisory position.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this position are representative of those that must be met in order to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

· Regularly required to stand for long periods of time, move about the custom area of the warehouse, and push, pull, and lift in excess of 50 pounds, including lifting above shoulder level

· Regularly required to use hands and fingers to feel, touch, or handle objects, equipment, and tools and reach with hands and arms

· Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time, day shift position with typical work hours of Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with occasional weekends. Overtime is expected during our busy season of April 1st to July 1st and mid-August to December 31st each year.
