This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the SDS Division. This role may offer a competitive relocation package.\n\nWhat you will get to do: \n\nPlans, designs and oversees the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities. Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility. Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs. Inspects or directs the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.\n\nEssential Functions:\n\nTeam Leadership: Direct and coach a multi-discipline engineering staff, setting performance expectations, providing feedback, implement standardized processes, and manage professional development.\n\n\u2022Project review: Review projects for code compliance, business case justification, and alignment with overall objectives.\n\n\u2022Project Management: Plan and execute facility renovations, capital improvements, and infrastructure upgrades on time and within budget.\n\n\u2022Financial Management: develop and manage project budgets, cost estimates for review, and capital expenditure planning.\n\n\u2022Act as reviewer / approver on Facilities Gate Review process to adjudicate requirements and ensure compliance with long range strategic plan.\n\n\u2022Systems Oversight: Support maintenance organization with oversight of infrastructure at a systems level to ensure reliable operation of critical equipment.\n\n\u2022Vendor Management: Coordinate contractors, negotiate contracts, and inspect work quality.\n\nPosition Benefits:\n\nAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: \n\n\u2022 Medical, Dental \u0026 Vision coverage \n\n\u2022 401k \n\n\u2022 Educational Assistance \n\n\u2022 Life Insurance \n\n\u2022 Employee Assistance Programs \u0026 Work/Life Solutions \n\n\u2022 Paid Time Off \n\n\u2022 Health \u0026 Wellness Resources \n\n\u2022 Employee Discounts \n\nThis positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. \n\nYou\u2019ll Bring These Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelors Degree with 8 years of related experience or Masters degree and 6 years of related experience or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree\n * Experience managing people preferred\n * Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time.\n * 5+ years in facilities management or engineering\n * Experienced with building systems (ex: Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical Distribution, etc)\n * Experienced with CAD design or Mechanical/Electrical Design, or real property design and construction.\n\n\n\nThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:\n\n * Active DoD Top Secret Clearance\n * BS Mechanical or Electrical Engineering to lead the team\n * Experience with ICD-705 construction and TEMPEST\n * Professional Engineers license\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $126,600.00 - $189,800.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
