Our employees are not only part of history, they\u0027re making history.\n\nNorthrop Grumman\u2019s Defense Systems sector is looking for a Supplier Management Team Technical Lead over the automation controls subcontract, located in Roy, UT or Manhattan Beach, CA.\n\n# What You\u0027ll Get To Do:\n\nAs the SMT Technical Lead, you will partner with the Program Element and Segment Executives, Global Supply Chain, Mission Assurance, Office of the Chief Engineer, and lead a cross-functional technical team of various systems engineering disciplines managing major supplier efforts focusing on technical excellence and technical rigor.\n\nPrimary job responsibilities are leading the technical oversite for automation controls as the main engineering point of contact for the Program. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\n\n# You\u2019ll Bring These Qualifications: \n\n * Bachelor\u2019s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 12 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master\u2019s degree in a STEM discipline and 10 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline with 8 years of related engineering experience.\n\n * Minimum of 10 years of experience in electronic hardware design and development, including Printed Wiring Board (PWB) design, schematic and layout collaboration and has personally reviewed and signed off on multi-layer PWB designs or drawings.\n\n * Ability to perform and review worst case circuit analysis/tolerance analysis (WCCA).\n\n * Active DoD Secret (or higher) clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance.\n\n * Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP/PAR).\n\n\n\n\n.\n\n# These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: \n\n * Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Electrical Engineering and 12 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering or and 10 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in Electrical Engineering with 8 years of related engineering experience.\n\n * Familiarity with ASIC design lifecycle (requirements through tape-out and validation), including ASIC design and integration into system-level design.\n\n * Proficiency with industry-standard design and simulation tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro/OrCAD, Mentor Graphics, SPICE, HyperLynx.\n\n * Familiarity with hardware verification plans, qualification and environmental testing and failure analysis and root cause investigation\n\n * Knowledge of Industry Standards \u0026 Compliance Docs, such as DO-254, DO-160, IPC-2221 and IPC-601.\n\n * Active DoD Top Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).\n\n * Prior Supplier Management Experience on a Program in the Development phase.\n\n * Technical evaluations of supplier proposals \u0026 subsequent contract negotiations.\n\n * Experience in managing technical risks and opportunities.\n\n * Experience in Earned Value Management (EVM) or being a control account manager (CAM). \n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $152,900.00 - $265,600.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
