Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Sewing Specialist/Seamstress to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, altering, and repairing fabric components used in our photobooth designs. This includes sewing curtains, backdrops, and custom fabric covers that align with our clients' unique photobooth themes and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, cut, sew, and finish fabric pieces for photobooths, including curtains, backdrops, and custom covers.
Perform alterations and repairs on existing fabric components as needed.
Collaborate with the design team to ensure fabric elements meet aesthetic and functional requirements.
Select appropriate fabrics, threads, and materials based on project specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all sewing equipment is in good working condition.
Assist with inventory management of fabrics, threads, and other sewing supplies.
Meet project deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in the sewing industry, specifically with experience crafting custom drapery, curtains or theatrical sewing.
Proficiency with sewing machines and hand sewing techniques.
Strong understanding of fabric types and their properties.
Familiarity with large-scale fabric projects.
Ability to read and interpret sewing patterns and design specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Creativity and a keen eye for design and color.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Upholstery experience is a plus
