Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physical Therapist (PT) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with expertise in various areas such as orthopedics, pediatrics, and acute care. This role involves working closely with patients to develop and implement effective treatment plans that promote recovery and enhance mobility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
• Provide hands-on therapy techniques to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and mobility.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and recovery processes.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Assist in discharge planning for patients transitioning from inpatient to outpatient care.

Years of Experience: 1 years (s)

Skills REQ: Outpatient, Acute Care, LTC/SNF

Certifications: BLS, Licensed PT, State licensed

Skills

• Proficient in medical terminology related to physical therapy practices.
• Strong knowledge of orthopedics and anatomy to inform treatment decisions.
• Experience in discharge planning for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Familiarity with pediatric physical therapy techniques is a plus.
• Ability to provide acute care services in a hospital environment.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple patient cases efficiently.

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00)

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $64.23 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
