Seasonal Charter Supervisor

The Charter Supervisor is responsible for dispatching chauffeurs to service locations. Assist with vehicle safety checks and ensure a smooth timely departure for each service. Monitor Charter Services operations during scheduled times. The Charter Supervisor may also be required to fill in for a chauffeur on an emergency basis. Responsible for ensuring all Charter vehicles are fueled, cleaned, ready for dispatch and secured when not in use.    

This is a temporary position. All internal applicants should apply by Friday, July 25th to be considered.

Compensation:  

• $32.00 - $36.00 / Hour 
• Internals will receive an additional $3.50 / Hour on top of their current salary 

Responsibilities: 

• Provide front line supervision to Charter chauffeurs, representing supervisory responsibility for 15+ employees. 
• Ensure efficient dispatch of Charter vehicles, to arrive for service on time and can maintain efficient and safe service. 
• Monitor dispatch progress, assisting chauffeurs and Charter guests as needed. 
• Assign available vehicles to each service, ensure that all external signage is current, and chauffeurs have necessary supplies and accept their trips through appropriate Charter technology. 
• Work with the Charter Services Manager pertaining to fleet management, detailing, and securement of assets.  
• Review fleet condition daily and assist in scheduling vehicles for repairs as determined by the Charter Services Manager 
• Ensure that the fleet is clean, working with the chauffeurs to schedule and perform cleaning activities. 
• Ensure that Charter Services vehicles are always stocked with required supplies.  
• Work with the Charter Services Manager to cover scheduled and unscheduled absences in the event a chauffeur does not check in on time.   
• Assist with data gathering or updating Charter operations records as needed. 
• Conduct on-the-road observations at various locations in the system, monitoring on-time performance, Charter operations, customer service, safe driving principles and document/follow-up with any areas of concern.  
• Assist in the investigation of workplace crashes/injuries and ensure adherence to safety standards and safe workplace practices. 
• Assist Charter Services Manager with training/recertifying chauffeurs. 
• Assist Charter Client Relations Specialist with client support. 
• Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements: 

• 2+ years of driving experience (shuttle, routed, or point-to-point transportation using a vehicle with a 10,000 GVWR or greater) 
• Must have experience in using Microsoft Office Suite 
• Must be at least 21 years of age 
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record 
• CDL Class A, B or C License 
• Passenger Endorsement 
• Current/Active DOT Medical Card
