Job Description - Seasonal Clerical & Administrative Support

Employment Type: Seasonal (Full-Time or Part-Time)
Expected Hours:

  • Full-Time: 35–40 hours per week
  • Part-Time: 20–30 hours per week
  • Compensation: $22 – $28 per hour, based on experience

Position Overview:

The Seasonal Clerical & Administrative Support role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of the office during peak season. The successful candidate will provide administrative assistance, support client interactions, and help maintain organized records while contributing to a professional and collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately maintain and organize client records, ensuring confidentiality.
  • Perform data entry and prepare documents, forms, and correspondence.
  • Professionally handle client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate workflow with tax professionals.
  • Provide general administrative support to facilitate smooth office operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
  • Prior administrative or clerical experience, ideally in tax, accounting, or finance.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and adaptable to new software.
