Seasonal Environmental Technician

Big Stone County is seeking a Seasonal Environmental Technician to assist with the Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS), Buffer, and County Engineering programs. This position is 40 hours/week from approximately mid-May to mid-August depending on applicants’ availability. This position will work at boat landings educating boat users and helping identify potential AIS risks. Assistance will be given to the County Engineering programs as well as buffer monitoring.  Training will be provided.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Applicant must be 18 years of age.
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Ability to work with the public
