Seasonal Event Associate (85th Sturgis Rally 2025)

The roar of engines, the open road, and the spirit of the rally – that's what the 85th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is all about! J&P Cycles is gearing up for an epic event, and we're looking for enthusiastic Seasonal Event Associates to join our crew.

Your Ride with Us:

As a Seasonal Event Associate, you'll be on the front lines of the Sturgis experience, often being the first friendly face riders see as they arrive at our main street location. Your primary mission will be to help us keep our grounds looking sharp and direct motorcycle traffic with a smile and a clear signal. This means you'll be on your feet all day, come rain or shine, soaking in the energy of the rally. The Nitty-Gritty Details:

This is a seasonal position for the duration of the 85th Sturgis Rally. We're targeting a start date of July 16th. July 16th - 24th will be part-time training to get you up to speed. Once the rally kicks into high gear, from July 25th through August 11th, you'll need to be available every day from 9 AM to 6 PM.

No Experience Needed: Your love for bikes is your ticket to an epic adventure! We'll teach you everything you'll need to know.



Perks & Benefits: We believe in taking care of our team. You'll be paid $17/hour (with overtime for hours worked over 40) plus free lunch & dinner, you'll also have access to our generous employee discount during your time working with us.

We Need Team Members Who:

• Are enthusiasm – we love bikes, the attendees at Sturgis love bikes, it's contagious!
• Can project their voice over loud bikes and crowds to give clear directions.
• Able to work/attend training part-time the week before the event: July 16th-24th 
• Able to work all days and hours of the event: July 25-August 11th, 9am-6pm daily.
• Are ready to represent J&P Cycles in a manner consistent with our Core Values.

Physical Demands:

You'll be on your feet and walking for extended periods, often outdoors in all weather conditions (sun, heat, cold, rain). You'll also need to lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Staying alert and safe in a dynamic environment is key.
