Seasonal Haul Truck Operator

Luck Stone's Boscobel Plant is looking to hire a Seasonal Haul Truck Operator who can skillfully navigate quarry roads and berms to safely load and unload rock into our primary crushers. This role also lends a hand on the ground with plant maintenance — because at Luck Stone, safety and teamwork go into everything we do. Seasonal shifts may last up to 6 months, with opportunities to move into permanent roles based on performance. 

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections of the vehicle


• Identify and report road, high wall, and equipment issues


• Operate heavy equipment using proper loading and dumping techniques


• Ensure the vehicle receives proper maintenance


• Assist with projects and activities beyond heavy equipment operation as needed


• Occasionally operate the Water Truck or Bin Truck, or help with maintenance projects around the plant


• Prioritize safety throughout the site for yourself and others


• Help keep the site clean and organized at the end of each shift

What You Bring

Experience: Prior experience in a quarry or large construction environment, or heavy equipment experience, is a plus

Attitude: Team-oriented with a positive outlook toward work and accomplishing goals

Schedule

Onsite, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay & Benefits

Pay starts at $21.77 hour and could increase upon skills and experience evaluation from management.
