Located in Gretna, Nebraska, Vala’s is a family owned and operated fall festival open to the public 45 to 55 days a year and is a treasured fall tradition for many families in the surrounding communities. Vala’s property spans 400+ acres, including over 50 attractions, such as pick-your-own pumpkins, apples, and flowers, and over 25+ food locations. Responsibilities & Requirements:

As a part of the tractor team, this position is responsible for safely driving tractors used for farm attractions. These attractions include trips to the pumpkin fields, apple orchards and the Barnyard Adventure route. Some guest interaction is required. This position reports to the location Team Leader. This is a seasonal, part to full time position. 

• Ability to monitor guests and provide instructions during loading and unloading of hay rack
• Ability to safely transport guests from loading zone to destination following assigned routes
• Must be able to communicate effectively with other drivers using radio equipment
• Interacts with guests in a friendly manner at all times
• Works well in a fast paced, team environment
• Must be age 24 years or older with a valid driver’s license 
• Must have experience driving tractors
• Ability to maintain three-point contact when climbing in and out of tractor cab
• Ability to move 25 lbs, 25-50 lbs frequently, and 50-70 lbs occasionally
• Ability to walk, stand, lift, carry, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist, and reach for extended periods
• Ability to monitor surroundings, including visual and auditory, for hazards or safety concerns
