Rodeo Cannabis Co. is seeking hardworking, dependable, and motivated individuals who enjoy working outdoors and take pride in maintaining beautiful agricultural landscapes.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of Connecticut's largest outdoor cannabis cultivation operation while working alongside an experienced team in a fast-growing industry. If you have experience in landscaping, farming, agriculture, horticulture, nursery operations, grounds maintenance, or outdoor labor, we'd love to hear from you.
This seasonal position typically runs from August through October, with opportunities for strong performers to be considered for future seasonal and full-time positions.
No two days are exactly the same. You'll play a key role in helping cultivate one of Connecticut's most unique agricultural operations while maintaining our fields and growing environment.
Caring for cannabis plants
Monitoring, and maintenance
Pruning, defoliating, trellising, tagging, and general plant care
Applying nutrients and assisting with crop health programs
Harvesting mature plants and assisting with post-harvest activities
Bucking, trimming, weighing, bagging, labeling, and preparing harvested material
Monitoring plant health and reporting concerns to supervisors
A major part of this role is maintaining a clean, organized, and professional outdoor cultivation environment.
Responsibilities include:
Lawn mowing and trimming
Weed management around cultivation areas
Mulching and landscaping
Brush clearing and property cleanup
Maintaining walking paths and work areas
General groundskeeping and outdoor maintenance
Assisting with fencing, irrigation lines, and infrastructure projects
Equipment cleanup and maintenance
Applicants with landscaping, lawn care, tree service, grounds maintenance, golf course, nursery, or farm experience are highly encouraged to apply.
We're looking for individuals who enjoy physical work, appreciate being outdoors, and aren't afraid to get their hands dirty.

Passionate about agriculture, horticulture, landscaping, or farming
Previous cannabis experience is a plus-but not required. We value strong work ethic and outdoor experience just as much.
This is an active outdoor position.
Applicants should be able to:
Work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions
Stand, bend, kneel, squat, and walk throughout the day
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly
Perform repetitive physical tasks safely
Work in direct sunlight during the summer months
Must be at least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Reliable transportation
Two or more years of experience in landscaping, farming, agriculture, construction, grounds maintenance, nursery work, or similar outdoor labor preferred
Cannabis cultivation experience is a plus, but not required
Work outdoors instead of inside a warehouse or office
Be part of Connecticut's only large-scale outdoor cannabis cultivation operation
Gain hands-on experience in commercial agriculture
