Role: 

If you’re an organization pro, detail-oriented, and a hard worker, we have a seasonal job for you in our Premedia department. You’ll get to work with all sorts of artwork styles, make quick design decisions, and pay close attention to every detail. It’s the perfect fit for your skills and interests! 

Here’s what you’ll be doing: 

You’ll be the mastermind behind final print-ready files for digital printing. 

• You’ll be a pro at Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat, all within an Apple environment. 
• You’ll be a great communicator, both verbally and in writing. 
• You’ll pre-flight orders for digital graphics production. That means you’ll review customer-supplied artwork and make the necessary adjustments to meet production specs. 
• You’ll manage production files for eCard processes and specifications. 
• You’ll work quickly, efficiently, and creatively in a variety of styles. 
• You’ll prepare and upload electronic proofs for client review, approval, and revisions. 
• You’ll collaborate with Order management to implement changes and update new proofs. 
• You’ll identify errors and make minor adjustments or corrections to files to keep things moving smoothly. 
• You’ll generate approved production print-ready files for prepress. 

Contract Length: This contract will last about 3 months from October to late December. The exact end date in December will depend on how busy things are in the final weeks.   

Work Schedule: Although it’s a temporary job, it requires 8-hour days, 40-hour weeks (M-F), sometimes with overtime at time and a half pay (occasional Saturdays.) 

Location: This position requires in-person training, so you’ll need to be in the Brentwood/Nashville area.

• Reliable, positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively with others and due to remote work environment, be able to work independently. 
• Strong emphasis on quality to ensure product compliance with customer specifications. 
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 
• Experience with digital 4-color workflow. 
• 2-5 years of experience in prepress, graphics, or printing. 
• Familiarity with color theory and prepress workflows. 
• Familiarity with digital printing and plastic card manufacturing is helpful but not required. 
• Availability for overtime.
• Availability for training on site in Brentwood, TN.
