Job Summary:

The Programming Coordinator – Events & Marketing is responsible for conceptualizing, coordinating, and executing guest-facing programs, pop-ups, and onsite activations that bring our brand to life and drive revenue across departments. Working in close collaboration with the Sales, F&B, Operations, and Marketing teams, this role supports seasonal event planning, social media storytelling, and hotel happenings that showcase the unique culture of Seattle and the Edgewater Hotel’s iconic over-the-water experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Event & Programming Coordination

  • Plan and execute on-property events such as live music, seasonal pop-ups, culinary activations, and guest engagement activities.
  • Develop monthly and seasonal programming calendars that align with hotel goals and brand identity.
  • Serve as on-site point of contact for internal and external partners during activations and events.
  • Support group event amenities and VIP setups, ensuring consistency and branding.

Marketing Support

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to promote events and programming via email, web, and social media.
  • Assist in curating visual and written content for social platforms, collaborating with photographers and vendors as needed.
  • Help manage promotional partnerships with local businesses, musicians, artists, and influencers.

Guest & Brand Experience

  • Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring that every activation feels intentional, memorable, and aligned with our hospitality values.
  • Source local entertainment, artists, and vendors to add authenticity and community connection to programs.
  • Collect feedback from guests and teams to optimize future events and drive continuous improvement.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Coordinate logistics, supplies, contracts, and payments for vendors and performers.
  • Track budgets, invoices, and programming-related expenses.
  • Prepare post-event reports with insights on attendance, engagement, and ROI.

Salary: 35/HR

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in events, hospitality programming, or marketing coordination.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Energetic, self-starter with a passion for guest experience, local culture, and creative storytelling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite), social media platforms, and basic event production.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedule.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of the Seattle events scene and local vendor/artist network.
  • Background in hotels, lifestyle brands, or boutique hospitality.
  • Experience with CRM and event management platforms a plus (e.g., Tripleseat, Knowland, Social Tables).
