Job Summary:

The Seasonal Space Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day execution and coordination of Seasonal Space assortments. This role owns the operational workflow that turns merchant space requests into approved maps, finalized files, article listings, and clear execution direction for clubs.

The Specialist works across multiple overlapping seasonal timelines, managing inputs from Merchants, Space Planning, and cross-functional partners to ensure all Shared Space sets are accurately mapped, approved, listed, and communicated ahead of in-club set dates. Success in this role requires strong process discipline, file management, and attention to detail, with the ability to manage several workstreams simultaneously and hit immovable deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Shared Space Planning & Mapping

• Collect, validate, and consolidate seasonal space requests from merchants to support the Sr. Manager and Sr. Analyst in building Center Core map files.
• Build and update interactive Center Core maps based on Sr. Analyst direction, ensuring accuracy of item placement, cluster logic, and timing.
• Manage map versioning and prepare files for leadership and merchant review, incorporating feedback through final sign-off.

Merchant Coordination & Tools Management

• Create and distribute merchant-facing Seasonal Space acknowledgement files once maps are finalized for each season.
• Build, distribute, and maintain MSP files for each category receiving Center Core space.
• Track all MSP revisions through final approval, maintaining clear version control and auditability.
• Partner with the Sr. Manager to manage and oversee all submissions and enabling tools for club experiences, including Looma, Demos, and Roadshows.

Article Setup & Listing Assignments

• Use finalized MSPs to prepare and submit master data requests for article listing across Center Core clusters.
• Manage article listings for Center Core, ensuring correct items are listed for each club set and aligned to seasonal timing.
• Validate that article setups align with approved maps, assortments, and display set dates.
• Resolve listing issues by partnering with merchants, master data, and other cross-functional teams as needed.

This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $62,000.00 - $81,500.00
