Seasonal Studio Technician (REHIRES)

Summary

NFL Films is looking for a highly motivated, skilled and passionate person to work various positions for live studio broadcasts. These positions include Second EVS Replay and VizRT Graphics Operator, Camera, Prompter, A1, A2, Lighting Technician and Lead Utility. 

Essential Functions

• EVS Replay Operator needs to be skilled in organizing, recording, editing and playing back server-based material during live productions.  


• VizRt Graphic Operator runs graphics for our live studio broadcasts utilizing the VizRt. Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of graphics assigned to productions. 


• Studio Camera Operator runs camera for our live studio broadcasts utilizing the Sony 4300 broadcast camera. Helps with the set-up and take down of studio sets and props. Is responsible for knowing the show rundown and required shots needed. 


• Teleprompter Operator needs to be skilled in organizing and editing scripts. They will need to be familiar with Autoscript and ENPS software for our live productions.  


• Audio Technician needs to be skilled in mixing and monitoring all audio sources for live programming. Will need the knowledge of all broadcasting technology including, audio mixing consoles, microphone and IFB signal flows, mix minus, RTS and ClearCom intercom devices. 


• The Lighting Technician will work closely with the lighting director, producer, DP and video operator to carry out the vision of the show. Additionally, the lighting technician will work with the studio utilities and gaffers to oversee all studio lighting design and maintenance. 


• Lead utility will direct and assist additional utilities with our production needs during our shoots. This includes but is not limited to moving sets, wrapping cables, operating equipment when needed, cleaning, hanging and removing lighting units, and Steadicam assist. 


• Provide support and assistance to others as needed.


• Perform additional duties and assist with special projects as needed.  

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree


• 3 years’ experience

Preferred Education and Experience

Other Key Attributes / Characteristics

• Proficient knowledge of all TV Production equipment and technology within assigned operating

areas, including but not limited to; audio signal flow concepts, intercom systems, VizRt, EVS, Autoscript and ENPS. 

• Experience in a live production control room environment.


• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
