Seasonal Tennis Pro

We are looking for a Tennis Professional to join our team. The Tennis Professional will be under the direction of the Director of Tennis, teach beginner and intermediate Tennis
clinics, providing private lessons and promoting Tennis. See below for details and to apply for the position. Competitive Pay: $8.10 /  HR + 50% commission per lesson

Responsibilities

• Teaches the intermediate and beginner private lessons for Tennis and Pickleball


• Also teaches programs for all ages including junior, adults, seniors and specialty classes


• Promotes, markets and sells private and semi-private lessons and Tennis programs


• Develops new programs with the approval and assistance of the Head Pro


• Monitors Tennis facilities to ensure that the facilities are kept in top condition facility maintenance issues to the Director


• Resolves conflicts with the public in such a manner as to protect the rights of the LBKC while encouraging the use of the facility by all interested citizens


• Keeps Director abreast of any concerns related to staff, programs, drop in play, and equipment


• Performs other related duties as required

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years teaching experience required 


• Teaching certification is required


• Must be able to physically respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies. 


• Requires moderately heavy physical activity exerting 20-50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently.


• Mental demands of intermittent exposure to stress as a result of human behavior. 


• CPR certification a plus
