SEC Audit Senior Manager

How you will contribute:

* Assisting with managing, developing, and coaching professional staff* Managing and supervising engagement teams on SEC audits and quarterly reviews* Reviewing detailed audit engagement procedures* Adequately identifying audit risks and problems through review to ensure audit engagements are completed with defendable files and documentation* Consistently identifying engagement and operating opportunities for improvement and providing timely solutions and consultation* Managing multiple concurrent engagements without disruption and within scheduled deadlines* Providing staff with timely performance feedback* Managing multiple client relationships, billings, and resource needs* Building personal referral sources and clientele while actively participating in team marketing opportunities* Leading audit committee meetings presentations* Participating in speaking and article-writing opportunities* Completing required Continued Professional Education hours* Traveling to serve clients as necessary

We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting* Experience with SEC reporting, including Form 10-K annual reports and Form, 10-Q quarterly reports* Experience supervising and managing PCAOB-integrated audits* At least 7 years of relevant audit experience in public accounting* CPA License* Experience managing multiple complex client engagements

Preferred Qualifications:

* Industry-related experience

New York City Pay Transparency

Pursuant to the pay transparency laws of New York State and other local ordinances within the state including (but not limited to) New York City, the salary range displayed is for the New York markets. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. FORVIS reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs.
