You will play a pivotal part in helping to support the lifecycle of a trade. Working closely with Business partners, Clients and internal stakeholders to ensure all transactions flow through our front to back Operations teams, with no issues.

You will develop a broad and detailed understanding of the organization’s landscape, culture, processes and Technology.

You will have the opportunity to recommend creative suggestions on how to improve processes to minimize losses from failed internal processes, inadequate controls, and emerging risk better serve our clients

Responsibilities:

• Individual mapped to this job description is responsible for confirmation and settlement of Foreign Exchange (FX) transactions
• Follows established procedures to work quickly and accurately
• Identifies discrepancies that require investigation or research, and resolves issues through problem solving
• Minimizes risk to the bank through increased knowledge of procedural requirements - understands and monitors errors to adhere to audit and control policies
• Demonstrates an intermediate level of understanding of products and processes, and of how duties relate within the team and closely related teams
• Demonstrates an excellent knowledge of bank related systems
• Utilizes strong communication, interpersonal and diplomacy skills to interact with colleagues and stakeholders, and to exchange potentially complex sensitive information, while being sensitive to audience diversity
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of experience working in Operations
• Ability to work in a structured, high volume, time sensitive, high risk and demanding environment
• Good analytical skills and positive attitude

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
