Overview

The Pouch Machine Operator at Sev-Rend is responsible for operating and maintaining pouch machines to ensure the efficient and accurate packaging of various products into pouches. This role is critical in the manufacturing and packaging process and involves several key responsibilities and duties, which may include:

• Set up and operate pouch machines in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Monitor machine operation to ensure it is running smoothly and efficiently.
• Conduct regular quality checks and identify any issues or defects.
• Troubleshoot and address minor machine malfunctions and repairs.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
• Complete production logs and reports as required.
• Work closely with other production team members to meet production goals and timelines.
• Strive to meet production targets and minimize downtime.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in machine operation, maintenance, or inspection.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read a tape measurer.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Effective communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.
