Secondary Market Loan Processor

Responsibilities

A Secondary Market Loan Processor is responsible for processing loan documentation and providing support throughout the secondary market loan process, serving Loan Officers across all the bank's locations. This individual will work directly with Loan Officers and a team of SM Loan Processors to help process loans, providing assistance to complete each loan file per company policy and current regulations. This individual may assist with completion of  an array of regulatory and procedural reporting, as well as other tasks needed throughout the Secondary Market Department.  

Professional and positive service must be provided to customers, Loan Officers, and any other parties involved throughout the loan process. This individual should have the ability to exercise extreme organization, prioritization, multitask, and have a strong comfort level working in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines when required. This individual should be able to work both independently and with a team as needed.

All staff members work Saturdays on a rotating schedule.

(This position is open to entry- to experienced- level candidates.)

• Capacity to search for ideas that may improve processes and enhance procedural efficiencies.


• Aptitude to problem solve and exercise common sense. 


• Intermediate computer skills with ability to operate Microsoft Word and Excel.
  


• Reside within a 25 mile radius from the designated office or willing to relocate - please include location/relocation details in cover letter or resume submission.


• HS Diploma or GED required.

Desired Skills

• Minimum of 1 year experience in comparable position at a financial institution.


• Experience in Jack Henry core banking systems.


• Minimum of an Associate's Degree preferred in a related field.

Additional Info

• At-Will, Full-Time position based on 40 hours per week - when scheduled on a Saturday compensating time off is given during the week worked


• Schedule is 8AM-4:30PM M-F; (8-11AM Sat)


• Travel: Minimal for occasional training


• Employment is subject to background and credit check
