Other benefits include FSA (medical and dependent care), Pet Insurance, Sick Time, and PTO based on years of service  We are seeking an innovative and dedicated Secondary Math Teacher to join our team for the 2025–2026 school year. The ideal candidate will foster mathematical thinking and promote a deep understanding of mathematical concepts through engaging, real-world learning experiences. You will support students across multiple levels of math, including Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and beyond. Key Responsibilities Instruction and Curriculum Development Develop and implement problem-based learning (PBL) lessons aligned with Colorado academic standards. Create engaging math lessons that promote logical reasoning, problem-solving, and real-world application. Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs and student growth. Student Assessment and Support Monitor and assess student progress using formative and summative tools. Provide timely feedback and academic support to students and families. Collaborate with support teams to implement interventions and enrichments. Classroom Management Foster a respectful, inclusive, and intellectually challenging classroom environment. Maintain discipline and support student engagement through consistent routines and expectations. Communicate proactively with families regarding student progress and behavior. Collaboration and Professional Development Work collaboratively with fellow educators to design interdisciplinary learning experiences. Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices in math instruction and pedagogy. Share expertise and resources with colleagues to support a culture of continuous improvement. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution. Valid state teaching license with highly qualified content knowledge. Strong understanding of science content. Preferred: Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Google Suite, and hands-on lab instruction. Essential Physical Requirements Occasional lifting of 5 to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, or move around a classroom/lab for extended periods. Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, and handling lab materials. Schedule Day shift Monday to Friday School Days: 186 School Year: 2025 – 2026 This position will be open until filled, but will not be open past: April 30, 2025 #SJ2025
