Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Secondary School Principal to lead our school community. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with a passion for education and a commitment to student success. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of best practices in educational leadership and have a proven track record of successfully implementing programs and initiatives that improve student outcomes.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide instructional leadership to all staff members, encouraging a positive and productive learning environment


• Develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive educational program that aligns with the school's mission and goals


• Supervise, evaluate, and support the professional development of all school staff members


• Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment


• Manage the budget and resources of the school effectively and efficiently


• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and community stakeholders


• Lead the development and implementation of school policies and procedures


• Provide support and guidance to teachers and staff to ensure their success


• Ensure that all school programs and services meet the needs of all students

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 10 years classroom experience


• Current teacher license


• Master's degree in Teaching is preferred 


• Oregon Administration License is preferred 


• Proven track record of successful instructional leadership and program implementation


• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills


• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills


• Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development


• Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices


• Teaching skills to help students and facilitate the school’s primary goal, which is to educate students


• Decision-making skills to enact new policies or changes to better the educational environment for students and Teachers


• Delegating responsibilities to properly make use of the team of administrators and get the most amount of work done efficiently and effectively


• Active listening to address concerns of students, Teachers, parents, and the school board
