Internal candidates will be given first selection.

Job duties: Advanced secretarial and clerical work for the District Court. Serves as Secretary to District Court Administrator typing correspondence and completing tasks to facilitate the operations of the 25th Judicial District. You will be required to support Judges and other employees in the district as the need arises. This position requires a high level of confidentiality and ability to manage a wide range of unexpected and frequent disruptions, while maintaining a pleasant disposition in serving the public

Required education and experience: Graduation from high school, courses in secretarial science and/or secretarial experience. Computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word.

Preferred qualifications: Knowledge of the court system or legal experience is preferred. Employee must interact well with the public, including both written and verbal communication skills. Good typing skills, spelling, grammar, and punctuation are beneficial.
