Secure Document Destruction Representative CDL Driver

CI Information Management is seeking a reliable, safety-focused CDL Class B Driver to join our Secure Document Destruction team. In this role, you’ll service established routes, operate specialized shredding equipment, and provide exceptional customer service to our clients.

This is more than a driving position — you are a key representative of our company. You will ensure secure document destruction, maintain equipment, identify sales opportunities, and build strong customer relationships.

Pay: $25.00–$30.00 per hour
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Schedule: 4-day workweek (10-hour shifts), Monday–Friday between 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

What You’ll Do

Route & Service Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain shredding trucks and equipment.


• Perform scheduled pickups and service accounts in compliance with strict security procedures.


• Deliver, collect, clean, repair, and replace shred containers as needed.


• Identify purge opportunities and additional service needs.


• Unload and clean truck at the end of each shift.

Equipment & Maintenance

• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report deficiencies.


• Complete routine maintenance including checking fluids, lubricating components, monitoring tire pressure, and maintaining cleanliness.


• Assist mechanics with repairs when needed.


• Ensure truck is fully stocked with route supplies before departure.

Customer Service & Sales Support

• Provide outstanding customer service to clients, vendors, and prospective customers.


• Promote additional services and products to existing accounts.


• Conduct cold calls and service visits within assigned territories.


• Communicate route changes, service issues, and sales opportunities to dispatch and leadership.


• Maintain accurate service records, invoices, and sales notes.


• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Valid Washington State Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement.


• Current DOT Medical Card.


• REAL ID or valid U.S. Passport.


• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.


• Clean driving record with proof of current insurance.


• Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening.


• Ability to consistently lift 50+ lbs. and maneuver containers weighing up to 200 lbs. on uneven surfaces.


• Basic computer skills.


• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.


• Sales experience or strong sales mindset.


• Mechanical aptitude for routine truck maintenance.


• Bilingual (Spanish encouraged).

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding position. Employees must be able to:

• Lift and push 50+ lbs. regularly.


• Maneuver containers up to 200 lbs.


• Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.


• Reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl frequently.


• Operate vehicles and equipment requiring depth perception and visual focus adjustment.

You will work in varying conditions, including:

• Outdoor weather in all seasons (including snow and ice).
