Secure Shred Crew Member

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting with all collected materials in an environmentally responsible way, while following all aspects of confidentiality and safety. 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in the process of shredding, sorting or dismantling all collected materials
• Provide excellent customer service
• Perform necessary housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Participate in warehouse workflows
• Be knowledgeable of equipment maintenance and safety protocols
• Follow all safety protocols as trained 
• Personal protective equipment must be worn in designated areas at all times
• All other duties as assigned by the crew leader, manager or director

• Move up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Move 100 pounds assisted
• Stand for long periods of time 
• Must frequently pull or push two totes that can weigh up to 500 lbs each

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Ability to remain focused in busy environment.
• Courteous communication and excellent customer service 
• Ability to manipulate hand tools and small objects.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Production or warehouse experience preferred 
• Vocational Training & Empowerment Center – 12-week Training Course
