Summary: The Security Analyst is responsible for monitoring and protecting the organization’s environments, applications, services, endpoints, and networks. This role involves setting and deploying policies, evaluating compliance, monitoring events, investigating incidents, and responding to vulnerabilities and security threats. The Security Analyst plays a crucial role in safeguarding sensitive data, maintaining data privacy compliance, and preventing cyber-attacks.

Arbiter is an AI-forward organization, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about applying AI to cybersecurity. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience using AI tools and AI-enabled workflows to strengthen security analysis, automation, threat detection, investigation, and day-to-day security operations. This person should be curious, adaptable, and eager to explore emerging AI capabilities while applying them responsibly, securely, and in accordance with company policies.

Job Functions:

  • Managing access control policies: Establishing, managing, and monitoring authentication methods, conditional access policies, risk policies, permissions, and monitoring onboarding/offboarding procedures across the organization.
  • Managing endpoints: Overseeing our device management policies including secure configurations, patch management, antivirus, and security agent configuration and reporting. Responsible for monitoring and reporting compliance across the organization and responding to vulnerabilities, threats, and cyber activity.
  • Monitoring and managing security alerts: Reviewing alerts generated by various security systems and tools, investigating alerts, generating security incident reports, optimizing alerts to avoid false positives and filter out noise, and reporting alert trends.
  • Configuring security tools and technologies: Configure and manage the various tools used for device management, antivirus, SIEM, and intrusion detection and response.
  • Administrating security and compliance training: Identifying or creating security training material to deploy to the organization, scheduling and monitoring training activities, generating training reports for evidence collection.
  • Providing support to end users: Responding to questions from end users and help desk team on security technology, troubleshooting problems related to deployment and management of security tools in cloud resources and endpoints.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information security, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Hands-on experience applying AI tools or AI-enabled workflows in cybersecurity is preferred.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and passion for exploring practical, responsible uses of AI to improve security operations is preferred.
  • CISSP, CISA, CISM, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
  • Cellphone or personal device to receive MFA (multi-factor authentication) texts or calls.
  • Have an internet connection that’s adequate for the job, a minimum of 10Mbps down.
  • Must reside within the United States and not require any type of visa sponsorship.

Salary Description

$75-85k
