Position details:

Rols: Data Analyst

Location: Hybrid role (Pittsburgh, PA / Lake Mary, FL)

Duration: 12 months contract

Responsibilities:

• Perform data analysis and reporting activities to identify and mitigate potential fraud risks.
• Develop and maintain data dashboards and visualizations using Power BI and other tools.
• Familiarity with common data mining techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data from various sources.
• Utilize SQL and other data mining techniques to extract, transform, and load data for analysis.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand fraud prevention requirements and provide actionable insights.
• Assist in the development and implementation of fraud detection strategies and methodologies.
• Participate in team meetings and present findings to stakeholders as needed.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data retrieval and manipulation.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with programming languages like Python for data analysis tasks.
• Ability to think critically and creatively to solve complex problems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Prior experience in fraud prevention or financial services is NOT needed
• Years of experience is flexible
