DayToDay Responsbilities:
Responsible for delivering cyber security consulting across products, services, infrastructure, networks, and/or applications. Works with junior team members on various projects relating to the protection of devices, customers, assets, data, information technology, and networks. Supports innovation, strategic planning, technical proof of concepts, testing, lab work, and various other technical program management and related tasks for, continuous monitoring and vulnerability management of designated critical infrastructure. Some other day to day roles may include:
Develops and documents policies and procedures for customers to achieve compliance with industry standards / cybersecurity compliance requirements, and to minimize technical risks associated with internal and external threats.
Analyzes various hardware and/or software solutions to support recommendations, compliance requirements and architecture designs, recommending purchases and identifying modifications to fit customers' cyber security and business needs.
Analyzes, recommends and applies measures to improve overall cybersecurity posture, meet compliance obligations, and to protect against cyber threats.
Conducts forward-looking research, planning and strategy in the development of recommendations and designs to strengthen our customers' stance against future cyber security threats, and enhance our customers' mitigation techniques and compliance with cybersecurity requirements.
Develops and executes plan for self-development, involving emerging technology and cybersecurity regulations and industry standards and working with leadership to align the plan with the business' direction.
Meeting with customers, engagement team and engagement management remotely or at customer sites to deliver engagement tasks.
Communicating with customers via phone, video conference, teleconference, e-mail, etc. related to engagement delivery and best-practice discussions.
Preparing deliverables, proposals, presentations, or bid responses, including developing pricing and strategic plans related to the customer and the proposed solutions/sales
Researching and developing customer solutions with external partners, including design and engineering
Assisting with pre-sales activities remotely or at customer sites, preparing or assist in preparing pre-sales deliverables, proposals, presentations, or bids, including recommending levels of effort
Developing engagement deliverables including findings, risk, recommendations and efforts for remediation activities, and communicating with engagement team any engagement risks or issues related to engagement delivery, or pre-sales opportunities related to customer needs.
Must Have:

7+ years of experience within the cybersecurity security industry specializing in the following:
Regulations and industry standards
Cybersecurity program strategy and management
Network and cloud architecture high-level and low-level design creationNetwork assessments
Proof-of-concept design and testing.
Information security program planning and review expertise.
Working experience operating systems.
Cloud experience.
Application level expertise including application layer firewalls and APIs
Expert-level knowledge of SIEM and security operations. SOC planning, implementation, and optimization.
Experience with vulnerability management tools, patch management, firewall configuration,SCCM.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or Cyber Security related subject area
NiceToHave:

CISSP/ CISM and/or OSCP certifications
Pay Range:

$60-80/hr
