Security Guard

Job Summary

The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This role involves monitoring clinic premises, enforcing security policies, and responding to emergencies to ensure the safety of all individuals on-site.

Essential Functions

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Monitor and patrol clinic grounds, including entrances, exits, parking lots, and interior spaces.
• Greet and assist visitors, providing directions and answering questions as needed.
• Enforce clinic policies and procedures regarding safety and security.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies, including medical emergencies and fire incidents.
• Conduct regular security checks of facilities, equipment, and property.
• Document incidents and prepare reports on security-related activities.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients and staff in emergency situations.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to create a welcoming atmosphere for patients and visitors.
• Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner; and perform all other related duties as assigned.
• Be flexible in schedule of hours worked.
• May require use of personal vehicle    

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a security role.
• Valid Security Guard Card.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make decisions in high-pressure situations.
