Security Guard - Full Time - Driver Patrol

As a Security Guard - Full Time - Driver Patrol in Sauget, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of chemical and petrochemical facility buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter areas, and restricted locations.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while supporting security-related procedures for a regulated industrial location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
